      Pros

      Flexible scheduling, working with patient's and families.

      Cons

      Management has very low regard for employees. Everything is handled in the "negative". You don't do this, you didn't do this, this was wrong, why did you... vs. Great job going above and beyond for your patients, thank-you for staying late to cover the extra shift etc. Turnover of nurses, terrible pay, lowest in the market. Short staffed. Managers will just walk out/not deal with problems such as not having enough staff in the field. Angry patients.

      Dedicated professional staff, work force is commited to one another. Very supportive

      Cons

      Unable to maintain staff, in all specialties. Substandard benefits . Lots of pressure to keep census up. Most employes are unhappy.

      Pros

      The entire employee culture is one of care and service to the patients and their families. Almost the entire "frontline" of staff is comprised of nurses, clergy and social workers with great attitudes and capacity for caring.

      Cons

      The driving pressure of profit generation is in constant conflict with the mission of caring. The operation is extremely effective, but poorly efficient.
