      Pros

      Amazing campus in PA, strong executive team, plenty of challenges to tackle and interesting people to work with. Strong rotation programs and mobility among teams.

      Cons

      Pick your team carefully, some are good, others not so much. Plenty of politics to go around. The company is facing an existential struggle as it tries to figure out what comes next after ESX.

      Pros

      Self-starter culture, plenty of day to day empowerment, huge customer base with very positive relationship, above average salary and benefits, lots of believers.

      Cons

      Culture- some areas approach things like sales and R&D in the same virtualization-focused mindset that worked 6 years ago, but the current market needs a more solution-focused approach, rapid iteration and strong link to business value. This mindset is often found in the people that have been here the longest and have had great success in the past, putting them in positions of influence, making it tough to shift.

      -Great benefits - low cost, excellent coverage -The work is unparalleled in the industry. We work in the most complex environments with the biggest challenges. -Unlimited PTO policy

      Cons

      -Layers of bureaucratic mess in middle management -Travel for PSO is very high (70-80%) -Promotion and review process is long and has drags on for months -No time for training - always be billing -PTO policy cuts both ways - any time taken off counts against you when bonus time comes -No industry conferences, including VMworld
