Pros

They provide great training both on the product and sales in general. Its a great place to start a sales career. If you do not have prior sales experience, they will give you the right information to succeed. The company is for the most part very young and driven.

Cons

Since the VMware acquisition, the management styles have taken a turn for the worst. The laid back atmosphere of a start up company is completely gone. Micromanagement is in. What was once a great place to work now feels more like a prison.

Pros

The work environment itself is clean, professional, and the building itself has nice gym facilities. The opportunity to make great money is available at the top levels. There are some very nice people outside the management.

Cons

Traffic around this place will make you very angry. The vacation package is essentially a joke. The commission structure isn't anywhere close to the best in the industry. The lack of a work from home scenario seems at odds with the image of a modern tech company. The Micromanagement starts at the top and the CEO doesn't seem to know that a positive work/life balance is important. This is NOT a 9 to 5 job and you can forget about having any meaningful success if you aren't willing to work overtime. For example, they told me that the hours are 8:30 to 5:30 however it's really 8:30 to 6 and you can expect to be judged for leaving on time on a consistent basis. The worst example was by far their handling of the snow that recently fell, they were more than willing to let employees risk their safety for the sake of productivity even though working at home could be accomplished quite easily.
