Pros
* Compensation & benefits are excellent * The tech you get to work on is interesting, and is always growing/changing (both from innovation and frequent acquisitions of smaller companies) * People are mostly very smart
Cons
* There are annual layoffs, usually in January - seen a lot of people with tons of product knowledge get axed * Related to this, there seem to be constant reorgs - mostly this affects the people above you, but it can be difficult to keep track of what groups/divisions within the company you belong to * The frequent acquisitions, which have some positive effects (see above) also mean that there are constantly new teams of people that need to be integrated, and that can lead to more confusion and disorganization
