Pros

Coworkers and middle management are great. managers are competent, friendly, and are great leaders. Most coworkers are hard working team players, happy to help you in any way they can. Most middle management is promoted from within, which is a rarity these days.

Cons

Just about everything else. Training is a joke. Upper management, in particular the CEO, the one day every other week or so when they're actually in the office, are brash and distrustful, with self-inflated egos and "My way or the highway" attitudes towards every minute detail of day-to-day functions - again, without even being in the office to witness how the business operates. Attempt to use vapid and meaningless pizza lunches and breakroom snacks to accommodate an environment that fosters prolific micro-managing from upper management in particular. Not only that, upper management will attempt to contact you in the middle of the night - sometimes as late as midnight, on a weekday, for trivial matters such as ensuring a patient's prescription is input by morning. Workflows change weekly. Employees are fired based on performance metrics imposed and reviewed by team members operating out of other states, failing to see their impact in areas that cannot be measured with basic numbers, like repairing faulty equipment or engaging with providers to clarify and take prescription orders. Seldom is any explanation or even face-to-face contact made when individuals are let go - most often, their accounts and log-on info will simply be deactivated until the person gets the hint. Insurance benefits are lacking to add further insult to injury, and compensation is one step above the ground floor. Constant staff shortage, but firing workers over petty disagreements still happen almost weekly.
