Most people don't tell you how you have to do your job Culture varies by office, but my office's culture was great Uncapped commission Recruiters genuinely care both about their candidates and clients Paternity leave Solid commission structure

Cons

Favoritism 401(k) match isn't great Slowdowns in business cause chaos Depending on LOB, career options are limited Expect calls and emails that need to be answered even if you're on PTO Heavy focus on KPIs and statistics, both commission-earning and not

The clients are often challenging in a fun way.

Cons

Social activities are forced, with way too much alcohol. The bad managers are protected as long as they make money, even if they are disgusting to the women around them. (HR doesn't do anything about it either.) Forced people back in office.
