Pros

Flexible schedules, no weekend or holidays. Pick days you want to work and take off days easy even if you haven’t been there a long time

Cons

Pay is not good unless you have a truck. As a helper you make like $9 and hour and are placed all over the place most times not knowing you will go 30-45 min away in one direction. Truck people get paid $13 or more but most goes to wasting gas from truck sitting there. If you do violations the apartments don’t care and company makes you take stuff you shouldn’t that is dangerous. They hire a lot of people who don’t show up half the time but still have jobs. After a few weeks of nonsense, I quit. This was a part time job for me

We appreciate you taking time to provide feedback. I’m sorry to hear you didn’t have a positive experience working as a part time Service Valet with us. While you only stayed a few weeks, I’m glad to see that you were able to recognize that our part time positions do offer a lot of flexibility. Most of our Service Valets work 10-15 hours per week and appreciate the flexibility aspect of the job as this position often is supplemental to their full-time job. I also appreciate your concerns regarding the hourly pay rate. We do offer an additional hourly rate for our associates that use their own personal pickup truck as we recognize the expense associated with it. Our pay rates also vary by market and we continue to work diligently to remain competitive within our industry and across others with part-time positions. Our organization has a strong commitment to safety and your comment regarding our associates picking up dangerous materials is not consistent with our culture or standards. I would be interested in speaking with you further to better understand your experience. Please email me at Antonio.fiorentino@valetliving.com to coordinate a time we can connect to discuss further. Thank you.
