Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience at Valet Living. Your insights are crucial in helping us understand the perspectives of our team members, and we value your input. We're pleased to hear that you appreciate the outdoor aspect of the job. However, we acknowledge your concerns regarding the expectations on managers and the support provided to bilingual recruiters, especially those with in-demand secondary language skills. Your observation about unrealistic expectations is something we take seriously. We are continuously reviewing and refining our management expectations to ensure they align with a realistic and manageable workload. We want to create an environment where our managers feel supported and equipped to succeed. Regarding support for bilingual recruiters, we understand the importance of leveraging in-demand language skills. We are committed to addressing any challenges in this area and providing the necessary resources to facilitate effective communication. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts, and we look forward to addressing these concerns and continuously improving our work environment.

Pros

Short hours, good physical challenge

Cons

You'll often work in dangerous apartment complexes. I am a large and physically fit man and I still felt unsafe plenty of times. I quit because they cut my effective pay rate in half.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We're sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience. Regarding your comments on the pay structure, we did make a change earlier this year that involved moving all part-time associates into an hourly pay model. This ensures that all associates are paid appropriately for the hours they work. While our Service Valets do not receive reimbursement directly for gas mileage, they are paid a higher rate for the use of either truck, either through a stipend or directly in the hourly pay calculation which is equivalent to $3 per hour. Thank you again for taking the time to leave this review. We wish you the best in your career.
