Pros

Benefits and salary are great. Location is decent. Plan ahead if you use public transportation.

Cons

Hardly any training; bring a pad and pen because if you don't take any notes, you will not last as an employee at all. Plan ahead if you use public transportation; your own vehicle is highly recommended.

Pros

the management at the Mineola Branch was nice. Very friendly and very flexible

Cons

the company sucks to work for. Valley is a small community bank only located in Northern NJ and has a feww branches in NY. This bank does not care about its employees and constantly feels the need to threaten employees that there are hundreds of unemployed people waiting to get a job so we have to step up. valley national bank is horrible.
