Pros

- Competitive benefits, promotes higher living standard - lots of opportunities to learn new skills & gain experience - Hard work was recognized - Good example of all the basic benefits that come from a retail banking career - Branch teams stick together

Cons

- noticeable work/life balance issues for branch staff, murky boundaries - Little support from beyond the branch. Must have positive personal connections with branch staff to have a good experience - Internal changes or dilemmas not always communicated clearly from beyond branch mgmt
