Pros

Low expenses; great place to invest even when I leave the company. If you're buddy/buddy with the right people, you'll be promoted quickly.

Cons

No chance for growth. No one stays their more than 10 years--even the lifers run out of opportunity. Even those who aren't looking for opportunity leave b/c they get tired of doing the same thing.

Pros

This employer has good benefits. The medical is OK, but the retirement plan (401k) is unbeatable. They offer ample/good training. I had a good variety of work (but this is team dependent). This employer has exemplary integrity.

Cons

Not all teams are treated the same (some are forced to work weekends, others aren't). If you demonstrate you are competent, you will get more work with little or no monetary reward. They rarely fire anyone (which leads to many useless people).

Pros

Friendly people, friendly service, very laid-back management style.

Cons

It is a mediocre company. It does not strive to take on more risks and be more competitive in the financial industry.
