Pros

Part of the solution of the financial industry. What they do really makes employees feel like they are part of the solution and not the problem. Also the work is really good for new technical employees in order to get your feet wet. You'll get access to large databases, large applications, and other great toys to start your carrer.

Cons

Bad salaries, and at times really buracratic. My manager was great, but his manager wasn't as okay. So the leadership on that level is really hit or miss depending on who he/she is rather than the department that they are in.

Pros

Great opportunities for advancement. Management is very willing to help you explore different career paths. The company and crew are very honest and ethical. The retirement package is very good. Compensation is definitely structured to reward those who are in it for the "long term" which aligns well with its investment philosophy.

Cons

The cash compensation is low and not very competitive.
