Pros

Sales dept is fast-growing. Solid training. Stellar firm reputation.

Cons

Not the best for highly-motivated people. The comp is not as high as you’d think, but I’ve heard it’s strong as you move into external sales. Not very competitive, so the work culture can be very dull. On the other hand, it’s easy to stand out if you put forth even a little bit more effort than your peers. As you might imagine, it’s a very cost-conscious company—so don’t expect them to just throw money at you. I negotiated a very competitive compensation arrangement due to my experience, but it’s not the case for most people. I was a bit overqualified in some respect. Don’t know if I’ll be here long-term, but it’s great for career development and professional cache. You could do worse.
