      Pros

      Vanta really feels like it's hitting its stride lately -- GTM morale is high, EPD is shipping improvements and new products like nobody's business, and people are generally happy and engaged. It truly feels like we are building a once-in-a-lifetime company, and it's exciting to be a part of it. Benefits continue to get more generous -- are there any other Series B companies that have a 401k match? Leadership is doing a great job of setting goals/priorities and making sure we action them. Can't wait to continue on this ride!

      We continue to run a pretty lean business, so workload can be heavy at times.

      Pros

      I was just on medical leave for a full year, and Vanta supported me the entire time. They didn’t have to keep me, but they chose to do so, and the team constantly checked up on me throughout the toughest year in my life. As for the job, it is definitely demanding, but demanding in the absolute best way. Vanta is by far the market leader in the space with 2X as many customers as anyone else, and growing faster than anyone else. The product is at least a year ahead of the competition, and we have only accelerated our product development.

      Work-life balance can be tough, but is to be expected on a company that is pre-IPO.

      -Great people; so many high performing employees that left good opportunities at big name tech companies to work at Vanta from Product to Ops to Engineering and more. -Most people are super collaborative and interested in teaming up to get things done / most teams break down silos -Products that are super useful to businesses with a ton of room for innovation -CEO is cool and relatable

      Cons

      -Company is relatively new so most employees are newer; this leads to green people needing to make big impactful decisions without full context -Inexperienced senior leadership needing to navigate through turbulent times can be concerning -Growing pains of employees wanting to operate like a mature company vs. the reality of being a startup; trying to do too much
