      Great Startup to Midmarket Experience

      Pros

      Vanta is growing quickly but it remains an excellent place to work. We have more than doubled in size in my time here, but it still feels like a very small company. The executives are very visible, easy to reach, and open for communication. The benefits are incredible -- better than many large corporations offer. 401k match! The people are friendly, motivated, and competent. I've really enjoyed my experience here.

      Cons

      There are some minor growing pains, as to be expected. For example, sometimes it takes longer than I would prefer for projects to be completed since people have so much on their plates.

      - Great leadership that cares about their employees - Option to work remote (But there are offices in SF & NY) - Catered lunches a few days a month and office snacks - Company-wide events (Palm Springs trip) - Good compensation & benefits - Unlimited PTO

      - Competitive market (only relevant for sales roles) - Newer company, so some processes are not built out yet / still works in progress - Technical product

      - Incredible people: genuine, easy to work with, inclusive, smart, and driven - Product-market fit: creators of a new space and attracting customers that love the product - Strong trajectory: Vanta is disrupting the industry and has high ambitions to continue toward its vision of securing the internet!

      Cons

      - Natural growing pains as a start-up: rapid hiring and customer growth sometimes outpaces process improvements.
