Pros

The people. Every day it is enjoyable to come to work because you know you will be treated respectfully by those above you on the totem pole, and treated nicely by those technically below you. The office building itself is also quite a nice place. The location is a little odd in the sense you can't really walk to any good restaurants, but it's a modern landmark building with an excellent view of the city. Easy, convenient parking in the lower 1/4 of the building.

Cons

The pay does not compare favorably to other, larger markets. Of course, the cost of living is much cheaper in Grand Rapids -- but probably not enough to make up for the large gap in pay.
