Pros

Follow your passion and work with cheerleading 24/7/365 literally. Some cool people. Free trips to DisneyWorld.

Cons

Free trips to DisneyWorld. No promotion from within. No raises. Pitiful benefits. New investor group is a joke, literally squeezing out every dime from cheerleading with no vision for how those changes will affect the sport. CEO they brought in didn't even last a year.

Pros

Work from home, unlimited income meaning the guarded you work the more money you will make, great co workers, fun environment.

Cons

Management are puppets, never recognized for extra effort, expectations unrealistic. Varsity is just a bully pushing employees around. Pushing clients around to buy things they don't want or need then stabbing them with astronomical shipping charges.

Pros

I have been with Varsity for nearly 20 years and there are some really great things about the company. First, there are so many great people that work for the company. You can dress down in the office. You are given a good amount of vacation time, especially over the holidays.

Cons

Being a State Director who works in the Memphis office, you don't necessarily have the same flexibility as those who work outside of the office. State (Sales) Directors who work in the office are given additional responsibilities that don't necessarily have anything to do with sales. There is a lot of travel required over the weekends. You are not compensated for this travel or given additional vacation time. The pay could be higher. There isn't much room for growth or career advancement.
