Pros
Tons of opportunity for growth from personal, career, and financial perspectives. Trying to adopt some newer technologies and approaches on some teams, which is exciting. Only recently, did Venmo try to monetize and it's on a great trajectory. Tons of personnel churn at all levels, but on average, talent and leadership improving with the turnaround. Improving day-to-day in engineering, with new planning processes, solid new hires, and innovative tools being introduced.
Cons
A lot of fast team growth across different locations. Some weird fences being thrown up between some sites. Politics are not bad here compared to other companies I've been at, but there's some subtle finger pointing that needs to stop. Unclear what some leaders and people do all day, week, month... How is that possible? Overall, so much change which is hard and sometimes disruptive but I've seen the same things at other companies, so meh...
