hey tell you your coworkers on your team are not your competitors but in every meeting we talk numbers about who is doing the best and we are put up against our teammates. There is little room for growth. Leads are there to micromanage. Every. minute. of your day is tracked, and cameras are REQUIRED to be on during meetings. There is no freedom it feels like I'm in daycare each day. Oh and did I mention they do not know how to split a workload evenly and most days you are on phones for 4-5 hours? This job is actually very stressful and customers are extremely abusive. Don't let them fool you. In the interview be sure to ask if their turnover rate is high, and why, hopefully they will be honest. I can't believe I have stayed this long.

The more PayPal has made their presence known within Venmo, the more inefficient and frustrating things have become. Positions of folks who have left are not being backfilled. We are doing double the workload we were before with absolutely no increase in pay. There is no path for growth within the company, and PayPal continues to outsource work that we are expected to train on. It is a mess, truly just a mess in every sense of the word.
