Pros

I have been with Venterra for a short period of time; and its been long enough to know, that this is the type of company one would want to retire with. It pushes you out of your comfort zone and provides you with the right tools for success. Wide opportunity for growth and personal satisfaction. It allows you to expand your career while encouraging you to reach your personal goals. Everything Venterra stands for is unique and once you work for them you wont settle for less.

Cons

The benefit package could include a lot more.

Venterra is unlike any other MFI company out there, one who's culture is truly focused on improvement and growth.

Pros

The corporate culture is one that encourages employees to develop both professionally and personally. There is a huge focus on resident satisfaction and Venterra always does the 'right' thing. In the Multi-Family Industry, there are companies who talk a good game, but Venterra can back it up. It is refreshing to be able to sleep soundly at night because everyday is spent doing everything I can for my residents and team members to make this the best place to live and the best place to work!

Cons

The only Con is that there aren't more Venterra communities across the country. It's a shame to not offer this living and working experience in more markets.

You are heard by supervisor (s). You are respected. Your opinions and ideas are valued. If Venterra was a characteristic, it would be"down to earth" because of the comfort and openness it strives on in tge workplace. You are taught, not just "trained". Every moment is a teaching moment with them. Examples of pros are: As an employee, you will complete Surveys on your managers and they will be deeply analyzed. Bonus metrics that make sense with CS Ranked properties and competitive scores Entire company kept updated via email, including direct emails of acquisitions from the President. Newsletter celebrating bdays & anniversaries each week Everyone so gracious and family like Days off - Holiday hours Flowers sent to me from my supervisor. Mentor and question-asking outlets JAM!

Cons

Budgets. As a manager, it was difficult to attend to budgets on a money-draining asset.
