Get home every night to be with my family.

Cons

Terrible communication. Tell dispatch something, it goes in one ear and out the other, they don't care!! No pay increases, bad benefits. And now it has gotten worse with Venture and Transcorr Trucking merging together. Thought things would get better, but it as just gotten worse. Big portion of their business is automotive parts. They lose this account, they are out of business. Need to start respecting their drivers, without them, there would be NO company.

the people are the same as every other company out there. treat them good they will treat you good, or as good as they can anyway. everytime i have asked for an advance for emergencys they have always given it. thats a biggy.

Cons

as company there pretty cool, but otr has trouble getting you back hauls. mostly brokered at the time your empty. its usually call me when your empty and we will see type stuff. as owner op the company fees are astronomical. 14 different fees totalling over 500 dollars a week. hell even 100 just for pulling there trailers. 100 something everyweek for comp and collision. so ya

Pros

Newer Trucks & Trailers, Maintains the fleet in good working order. If you live in the Indianapolis area they have opportunities in the area to get you home. Most freight is based into or out of Indianapolis.

Cons

Management works against the drivers, not for the drivers. Poor Communications (no one answers the phones or returns calls) Low Pay 29-35 CPM they say they pay bonus but they always find a way not to pay them. 90% automotive fleet. Use's outside brokers to find general freight. The owner has stepped aside and turn daily operations over to a former Celadon CEO.
