Pros

Absolutely Nothing at all. Terrible

Cons

First, don't believe any of these "5-star" reviews that just came in on 1/6/2023. Obviously the company has asked their current employees to leave reviews to offset the very truthful and real 1 star reviews that it truly deserves. This company has a team of people they pay to get 5 star reviews for associated websites. Employee beware!!! Run far away. A typical solar sales job will allow you approx 2-3 months to get on your feet. As soon as you start making some sales, they will look to fire you. O and they will keep your commissions too. I worked here for two months. Finally starting making some sales then was told I was not meeting expectations and was going to be terminated. The training process was terrible. You learn 99% by being out in the field. You will be selling at much higher margins than your competitors, but then told to "set expectations for customers" that we can match any price. I got a great idea, be more competitive from the start. They will constantly remind you about "Solarreviews.com" but yet have a team of people being paid to get customers to leave 5 star reviews. You will be sent to appointments within an hour and a half of where you live, but sometimes it might take 3 hours to get from one appointment to another and you may be out until 11PM - midnight. When you get competitor's quotes you are told to call Alex Giles. He can approve prices that other members of the team can not. Good luck getting him on the phone or even getting a text back. Reached out on about 6-7 occasions and I heard back maybe once or twice. Other companies were focused on providing value to their customers. Solar is great and can save you a lot of money. But not with the ways these guys tell you how to sell. Venture says, "we are selling a cheaper monthly payment". Well that payment is 25 years long. Has 35% Doc fees from the financing companies that you are stuck with even if you want to pay off your loan early. Run, Run as fast as you can. Venture will fire you. This review is a one out of ten.

Pros

Nice office Cant think of anything else

Cons

Owners and management are worse than I've ever seen The process to "Become a Sales Rep" is nothing more than a way for them to get you to canvass until they need to dump you. On the 2nd phase of training. You are required to hit the minimum goal while also learning a 10+ page script that sounds like it was written by a toddler. The pressure starts to build and once you dont hit the goal twice, you are out. Your whole life will then be gone as you are not allowed to study the pitch while on company time. maybe 1 out of 20 new hires will actually become sales reps. The others are just there to give the company leads. FYI, They will not tell you this, but you are being tracked by GPS through SalesRabbit on your tablet.
