Pros

Veracross is a high growth Saas company with a culture that is second to none. We serve the education market with an awesome product and continuous growth year over year. Culture is highlighted as a big plus in the interview process and the reality has exceeded my expectations. No matter the issues of the day, team members are always incredibly helpful and collaborative.

Cons

Increasing diversity is still a work in process, but new DEI programming has provided lots of high-quality training and learning opportunities this past year.

Pros

- Supportive, forgiving environment full of great people. You feel like people really care about you. - Mission-driven company in a mission-driven industry. The CEO believes that Veracross is the best SIS and that it's the company's moral imperative to serve schools. - Flexible work-from-home policy, although the message was unclear for people living near the office. - Lots of paid holidays including the week off between Christmas and New Year's. - Beautiful campus in Wakefield if you do go into the office.

Cons

- Unclear message about working from home. Lots of remote employees around the country, but people near the office were expected to come in periodically.

Pros

It's rare to find a company that not only talks about work/life balance but actively promotes it. Veracross is a fast paced, growing company where everyone is authentic and enjoys what they do. Don't get me wrong, there are challenges but people face them collaboratively and respectfully. Leadership has made significant improvements in processes, metrics, bonuses, and new benefits which proves that they are listening to their employees.

Cons

Lack of diversity at the upper management level - although to be fair D&I has been a priority for Veracross and they have made a lot of improvements including education and awareness.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. We have worked hard over the past year to improve our flexible work policies, compensation practices, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, so we are so grateful that these efforts are noticed and appreciated. We are working to provide more development opportunities to increase diversity among our leadership team. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our team and our schools!
