Pros

Perfect for those just out of college.

Cons

Engineers are underpaid. They only focus on hiring cheap labor and inexperienced engineers in Mexico instead of retaining the senior engineers in the USA. They never give an average promotion raise.

Thank you for providing feedback. It is unfortunate that you did not have a good experience at Verato. Verato is serious about employee retention and in developing our employees so they can further their careers. We take great pride in compensating our many high performing employees very competitively, and in giving them technical and management opportunities far earlier in their careers than they would otherwise get at most other companies. With the anticipated growth of our organization over the next few years, Verato is focused on hiring candidates with a diverse range of experiences, that includes both people who show great promise and can be future leaders for our company, and folks who have industry-leading skills and experiences. Feedback like this is noted and taken very seriously. Verato HR is also always available to address any employee concerns.

Pros

Hands-on action on complex issues, some perks.

Cons

Inadequate pay, they will lowball and promise great things in the future, but not now. Perks do not match what the industry offers now. The corporate style of managing the teams and people tend to stay on the lanes and do not cross tracks, with no innovation even though advertised as a start-up. Lack of diversity in the teams, women, and African Americans underrepresented in the technology!
