Pros

You meet some nice people.

Cons

So many to list. Leadership was a joke. The place is a call center mentality. You get in trouble for standing up too much or getting a drink.

Pros

If you are looking for a company that cares about you and encourages a work-life balance this is it. I have been working at Verified First for a little over 2 years now and it's still my dream job. I couldn't have asked for a better team or manager.

Cons

Pay could be better but benefits and flexibility balance it out in my opinion.

Pros

VF was a great place to start a new career. Pre-Covid, the office culture was great. There was some “tough love” sprinkled in that I think a lot of companies lack these days, but it was appreciated there. There was a lot to learn to start and it was fun to see the explosive growth. Benefits were great, pay was horrible.

Cons

Towards the end and during the times of Covid, the culture took a big hit. Departments were very disconnected and there was little effort to bring everyone together again. In place of the annual Christmas party that we used to have in person was a one-hour virtual lunch party where we sat and watched an awards ceremony, and then promptly returned to work. I get that it’s tough to keep the connections alive in a remote world but there was so much more that could have been done. Recognition went out the window as well. VF starting caring way more about micromanaging employees and demanding results more than they cared about the humans that kept the company afloat when the pandemic first hit. Now, new people are onboarded and are quickly realizing that the workload severely outweighs compensation and expectations far exceeded what is mentioned in interviews and JD’s. They tell you it’s a great entry level position but when you get in the seat, they are asking for results before you get proper training.
