      A Remote Family

      Pros

      Even though 99% of their employees are remote, Verified First does an amazing job making us feel like are working in the office. Every Monday, the company does a "Monday Morning Moto" to motivate us for the week and it's so nice to put faces to names. Supervisors are extremely support and understanding. VF has team chats to use for support with questions. VF has an awesome open door policy and is very accepting of feedback and suggestions.

      Cons

      While VF does pay 100% of the employee's health insurance premium, the deductible is high. Starting pay is lower than I expected, however the "inclusive" environment is way more valuable.

We are always looking for new ways for our employees to connect while still being remote and living in different states. Even though VF pays 100% of the insurance premium, we agree that the deductible is higher than we would like it to be. As a creative solution in 2022, VF implemented a "deductible buy-down" that reduces the deductible by $1,500, and is no cost to the employee. We'll continue to be open to new ideas, so keep the suggestions coming!

      THE BEST PLACE TO WORK

      Pros

      To be honest, I have truly always disliked going to work and this is the first job I have had that I can actually say I 100% enjoy getting up in the morning and going to. I never thought I would be able to say that. There are a ton of pros but a few I would like to point out: ° work-life balance/flexibility/understanding managers ° coworkers - everyone is so positive and FUN ° benefits - cover 100% of health insurance, free EAP, PTO, 401 K match, etc. ° management / HR - they actually care about all employees and are helpful when needed. There are a lot of fun events put on for employees throughout the year. ° training - it is made sure you feel comfortable doing your job before you are thrown into it and know that you can ask questions when needed. ° growth - they like to promote within and get you where you want to be

      Cons

      I will say it is fast-paced - but what company isn't? I really can't think of any cons at this time. I love this company and see myself being here for a long time.
