      Great colleagues, tons of opportunities for junior, questionable product strategy

      Pros

      You'll have the best coworkers here; people are welcoming and have a great culture. Tons of great opportunities for junior to owned and strive since there's multiple new initiative and not enough people.

      Cons

      The constant product strategy shifts and overly ambitious product vision could lead to half-baked MVPs that don't necessarily stand out from the competition. On trajectory to part away with Google means significant future compensation, benefits cuts and unclear job stability. Additionally, the work-life balance can be challenging at times and management has records of "favoritism" in the past.

Verily is in a process of systems separation from Google, but will remain an Alphabet company. As you've recently seen in our Benefits Open Enrollment, we have maintained a very similar health plan in terms of offerings and premiums for medical, dental and vision and we continue to offer market competitive compensation for all employees. There has been a great deal of change this year through the transformation which we know can be challenging at times.       Amazing ppl, but leadership keeps changing

      Worked on 3 different large programs in 5 years, always amazing ppl, motivated, driven, willing to help and super smart

      Cons

      Leadership changes brings change to the vision and additional waves of layoffs, consolidation and prioritization which is good, but the frequency tends to be too high.
