Pros
Excellent work culture, very friendly coworkers and an ego-free environment. Work life balance was not only respected, but treated as a priority. Higher ups attempted to bridge gap with low level workers and create trust, honesty, and cooperation.
Cons
On my team in particular, responsibilities that shouldn't have been ours were thrust on us. The scope and size of the team continued to increase until it felt more logical to split into multiple teams. I noticed several other teams seemed understaffed for long periods of time, and this impacted other teams who had to take on extra burdens because of it. There was a hiring freeze that was not communicated well. Communication and explanation of upper management decisions was not always good, which is bad in an environment that is all about trust.
