Pros

Edge technology - You can learn a lot. Many courses available in-house. Verint is a very good school for professional purposes.

Cons

Company with very aggressive processes and aggressive dead lines that one can almost never meet: "The management considers that , "You can do in 2 days what you are planning to do in 3 days". Too many processes... Agile development is not organized well. Team leaders are always under pressure... too much tasks to achieve in parallel. The QA team leader does almost not decide about anything. He is just the executor of his manager and the project manager. There is a very little possibility to be promoted. Most of the team leaders do not progress hierarchically.

Leadership vacuum and arrogant HR staff

Pros

Competitive salary and benefits. Supports remote-office culture. There are/were a lot of very good people that passed through the doors at Verint, many of whom stayed for a decade or even more. Great HR Team when I started many years ago.... but sadly, they all left.

Cons

Rarely promote from within. Resources get worked into the ground. I cannot tell you how many times I saw management treat employees with disdain. The company has a culture of failure, meaning no results are ever good enough. There is lip service that "we did well," but at the end of the day, the employees remember getting constantly accused of some failure to perform. People genuinely dislike working for this company. I worked for this company for years and never once saw the CEO, even at club.
