Pros

Excellent company overall, great training, upbeat corporate culture overall

Cons

If you're in a department that is not well run, it's not an option to apply to transfer until having worked there a full year. Also, workplace is diverse but the atmosphere favors the particulars of certain diversities much more than others. PLUS: Managers sometimes delegate too much to team leaders and do not check out situations for themselves. This leads to "she said"-"he said" (etc.) situations and unfair discipline based on seniority but inaccurate info. if team leader is immature, petty, etc.

Pros

Truly amazing work/life balance. I always thought that saying was a myth until joining this organization. My colleagues are some of the brightest and most genuine people I've ever worked with. My co-workers truly make the workday fly by. Benefits are excellent and the options are plentiful. Great location with lots of places to go. Right outside of the Newport PATH...making for a seamless commute.

Cons

Business units are siloed and it often feels as if we are working against each other instead of working together. There is a clear attempt at top-down transparency, however most of it is the typical "this is what we're doing now, what we're doing next year" things. Most of which is known already. Workspace is old school layout, computers are ancient, which makes working efficiently and effectively a daily challenge. Working from home (if you qualify) is a new concept at this company believe it or not. Working remotely is considered a privilege...something that you are regularly reminded of, as if you're a child. Compensation is fair depending on the job...but be sure to negotiate for the salary you really want before you accept the job. Annual increases are poor at best. Unless you are in a sales position, your bonus, after taxes, is equivalent to a cost of living increase.

Pros

Low stress, good for young ppl to have set ground

Cons

Management is horrible. No standard in promotion, cover their own mess instead of fixing it. Sex scandals, etc
