Pros

Easy to get hired, PTO always approved, typically flexible with shifts, they supply equipment, Thanksgiving and Blk Friday are paid holidays off. Mostly remote work.

Cons

Terribly low pay most jobs are $15-17/hr, No real structure or employee handbook on company policies. No Culture or employee perks, nothing on your work-anniversary. They started using "spyware" called Activtrak to monitor employees computer and productivity and they micromanage especially the older supervisors/managers (Gen X). They don't want you having passive time away from the computer outside of your (2) 15 breaks/ (1) 30 min lunch for a 8.5/hr shift - they'll write you up and put you on probation even if you have great metrics and productivity. No growth or professional development, No 401K contribution or match, No tuition reimbursement or certification training allowance. You only accrue 4 hrs of PTO per pay period, NO separate sick bank, just 3 personal days and 7 paid holidays. They cancelled overtime in almost all depts and teams. Cancelled referral bonus too. I wouldn't advise anyone to work here unless they needed something short-term. Its a dead end job, there's way better companies with way better pay and benefits out there.

Pros

The work assignments are easy

Cons

Management does not want any flexibility, the training is not thorough it’s all over the place. They transferred me to another department after the current department ran out of work leaving no option to find something else in the company. With the same pay and minimum training in that department. It was just unprofessional all around accused of using devices on my computer when I did not. Management sits quiet when they need to speak up. Pay not good. They need serious improvement.

Pros

The only pro I had was the facility where I was placed to work; the people there were excellent and friendly. They made my experience a little better. If it weren't for them, my overall experience would have played with my mental health.

Cons

Verisma is only an excellent place to work if you don't have kids. Management lacks empathy, and only the people who work remotely last with them compared to those who work onsite. I had a situation with my kid being sick, and I had to leave early. Because of that and car issues, I got fired because of it. When I tried to explain it to HR later, the Human resource rep told me, and I quote, "We all have kids, but we all have a job to get done." I interpret that as my job comes first, then my child. That comment upset me, though she apologized later on, but I will never forget that she said that. They try to make their clients the reason for what's happening, but nine times out of 10, they are blindsided about the truth. They don't understand the day-to-day basis of the job onsite. There is a lot of miscommunication, so if you were to ever apply to them, wait until you get to your job site so they can explain your role.
