Terrible Company to work for -- Stay away at all costs!

Terrible Management C - Suite is too old school and focused on the "good ole boy system". - Terrible employee experience - Cannot pay employees on time and refuses to cut off cycle checks even though it is their fault. Stay away from the company !!

We are disappointed that you did not have a good experience. Veritiv, as you know, is a result of a merger of two legacy companies with very different cultures. The integration has been challenging to not only merge operating and warehouse management systems but to create a new, dynamic culture that looks toward future growth. Those changes have employees in mind; for example, the new CIP program (Continuous Improvement Program) looks toward employees for innovations and has not only generated about 3,000 new ideas but led to more than 1,200 being implemented.

Pros

Flexible with time off. Great people to work with and around in other departments. Generally quiet atmosphere. I was hired on from a temp agency like most everyone here was I negotiated a much higher salary than they originally offered because I proved during my temp time a valuable asset and innovative thinker.

Cons

HR isn’t on premises nor is any other operational departments they are all in Atlanta. There is no real growth opportunities or personal enrichment available. There are no career tracks to the causal observer.
