Pros

decent pay if you have worked there over 20 years and managed to work your way through the ever so slow scale of increases

Cons

Seems like they like to cut corners and bring on Managers that have no clue or little ethnic when it comes to managing a warehouse full of grown men, Sad that the managers that have been here all have left for lack of pay, but the ones that have no knowledge of running a warehouse are the ones that they keep and praise holding them up like a trophy when in fact the trophy they are holding up is truly Tarnished beyond repair.

Great Company but Lies, Poor Management and Incompetent Emloyees

Flexibility, Health Insurance, Locations and very little good local management.

Cons

Veritiv started off as a Great Company and quick to recognize top performers. But in 2016 the company standards were just like that at IP. They pile on work, responsibilities and promise more pay and promotion but yet to give you anything hoping you forget. They allow harassment from fellow colleagues and HR fails to do anything about it. They said they're restructuring salaries but more like barely catching up and yet money is disappearing. So many Freezes due to overspending. They allow laziness and quick to call out the ones that are doing their jobs.

Compensation was one of the best, for the area. In the beginning, the group of guys on the shift were great to work with. In the beginning, the work wasn't too challenging.

Cons

MANAGEMENT. MANAGEMENT. MANAGEMENT!!! Management constantly and consistently lied to employees about almost everything. Work hours were terrible. The systematic mistreatment of employees. Supervisory staff smoking and drinking, on the job. Work/life balance was almost nonexistent. Production orders secretly held back, to make nights longer and/or more difficult. All around terrible place to work; AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
