Pros
* I got multiple opportunities to work on interesting projects and got a good management * Flexibility to choose what to work on even outside of direct team scope * Pay is decent as for a medium-size company * Benefits are okay * Strong engineers working here * Can work 40 hour weeks
Cons
* Recognition may be a bit delayed (tho typically still there) * Eng levels capped at L7 (aka senior staff or principal), and it’s also very hard to get promoted there * Open discourse is somewhat limited (tho not as bad as it could be)
