The co-founder had a successful company in 2012 that was 1/5 the size of this. They’re running it the exact same way with no regard for changing playbooks and updated ethics. It’s not working. They are hiring tons of people when no one is hitting their number and being totally fine with the churn and burn mentality. The leaders that were chosen were given that opportunity because they will do whatever they are told.

Pretty simple: the culture is a joke. I've seen other reviews say cutthroat and that's a great word for it. The term "burn it down" is used often inside Verkada. Meaning, do whatever is necessary to close a deal. Being aggressive is one thing but this mindset permeates the culture and it shows. There's no regard for actions that have long term consequences. It's all about the Quarter at hand and the near term. If things don't change, this will catch up to them. And in terms of sales leadership/management, pretty much every person in those positions is terribly unqualified. I think good leaders help solve problems and help add value. The opposite is true here, for most.
