Pros

People are kind and care about employees. Very solid ownership that shares goals and progress with ALL employees and gives them a voice to make change. Has a growing footprint in technology innovations.

Cons

Need to work on communication to let people know Vermeer is more than a company that only sells balers. Vermeer mostly sells industrial solutions for managing natural resources and providing infrastructure.

Pros

Vermeer has great core values, family orientated, and is set up for success. Diverse markets and leading edge technology No union workforce here which makes getting the job done a lot easier

Cons

Compensation might not be the highest compared to other large corporate companies but their all around benefits are top notch. Since Vermeer is a lean corporation there seems to not be a lot of opportunity to move up.
