Pros

Employee owned, pay is good, hard work is recognized and rewarded, Childcare on-site, growing staff, gym on-site, profitable, convenient location, family culture, excellent benefits, new product development. VIP is the leader in providing software to help sell more beer.

Cons

Nothing to report here. Hours are normal. Sometimes it's hard to find a parking spot, but that shouldn't be an issue in the future with the new building and lot coming soon.

A great place to have a job, but not a career

Pros

A lot of hardworking people. Willingness to train. No college education or relevant experience required. On-site and affordable childcare. You can screw up pretty hard and not get fired.

Cons

While there are a lot of hardworking people, the people who don't perform stand out and still get to stay. Seniority and connections take precedence over anything else. Management doesn't care about anybody at the company for less than ten years. Must bring your own stationary because none is supplied. Hours quoted to customers for jobs are wildly inaccurate, as teams report what management wants to hear rather than what is actually done. Salary is wildly unbalanced between junior and senior members of teams.
