Cons

Your future in Vertex depends highly on the team that you join and the culture within that team. Some teams are no-go areas. Vertex has hired people from many industries and experiences, many of them are there for the money and care little about ethics. Lots of politics, all decisions are taken by higher grades, even basic ones.
