Pros

The Vertica culture is truly unique. The product is amazing but the people and their passion for making things better for every customer every day is what makes it so special. I am so proud to be part of making a difference in the world.

Cons

Sometimes we struggle to move as quickly as we should in our high speed market.

Decent product that tends to be accepted by small customer base of clients

Cons

Company relies on current customer base with zero strategy for gaining net new business, getting clobbered by the cloud providers and Snowflake, Not considered a major player and therefore gets left out of most database discussions at a corporate level, poor sales strategy with no direction

Cons

- Tough to say, but competition is everywhere, so be prepared to fight tooth and nail to win across traditional EDW, cloud-only offerings, and open source entrants
