Pros

Vertica's product is amazing. It's useful across all industries and it plays in the interesting and growing Big Data space.

Cons

The business unit has been disrupted by numerous company changes over the past couple of years (split from HP to HPE; spun off as EntIt and merged with Micro Focus).
