Awesome place to work

Pros

The work environment is fantastic. Management from the top down truly cares about providing the best care for clients. Expectations are high, but how can you not have high expectations when you are caring for peoples lives? There are certainly difficult situations that arise because of the field, but the employees feel such pride in the work they do and everyone places emphasis on enjoying their time together, so it balances out the difficult things. I've never enjoyed a job so much or had a better group of people to work with. This isn't a job, it's a career.

Cons

Because of the nature of the work and dealing with outside customers, the environment can be a little fast paced at times trying to make the best decisions for customers. Honestly, I see it as more of a positive because every day is something different, but for people who can't handle having to encounter new situations on a regular basis and making decisions, it can be hard to adjust.

Pros

If you like drinking, the CEO is all about it. He spends a ton of money on the annual conference where it's basically just a big drunk- fest. He doesn't realize that the employees would rather have an annual raise.

Cons

EVERYONE is expendable and easily disposed. There's so much emphasis on "holding people accountable" tgat it creates a toxic environment. The execs just always want someone fired or given corrective counseling. Employees walk around fearful of who will get the axe next.

Pros

Pay was higher for a position like this than most companies.

Cons

Lack of managerial direction, too many administrative and scheduling tasks asked of case managers.
