Pros

They fit you for a bra during training

Cons

-Toxic, negative environment (5th ave, nyc) -ridiculously high sales goal per hour -very competitive, people will steal your sales -training took 3 days and I learned nothing besides the "values" of the company...which are not practiced outside of training -no grace period...living in NYC managers know the MTA is bad and they do not care -everyone is scared of management -mandatory meetings on days you are not scheduled to work...are still mandatory if you requested off/are unavailable that day because of school or a second job. -discount is really bad

Pros

None. Seriously. Do not work here unless you are a vapid mid-thirties looking to find misery.

Cons

This place is the WORST. sure, they treat customers okay but if you’re an employee? Nope. I worked here for about 4 months and all I can say is that there is no respect, consideration, or kindness shown for fellow employees. If you’re looking to be chastised every single day, then this is the place for you! When I called out for legitimate reasons (health related), I was told that I was “unreliable”. When I had family coming to town I was told that I could not have the weekend off, missing out on a day of fun with family who had flown out to see me. A customer could spit in your face and walk out the door with thousands of dollars worth of products and there would be NOTHING done about it. Because apparently calling security (or the police?!) is discrimination. Because I worked fitting rooms, I received the brunt of the nastiness from albuquerque drug user— when 8:55 rolled around, at least 4 rude people would walk in and promptly mess up all of the work we’d put in all day. And don’t even think about looking for shift coverage... yes, there may be 50 employees but no one understands consideration so you’ll never find someone! Finally, I don’t think I ever got off a shift on time. If I was off at 2, I wouldn’t expect to even be leaving the store before 2:45. Closing shifts were even worse. Don’t expect to be out even around 9pm— I had days where I wouldn’t leave until 11:45PM!! Just don’t work here. Free fragrance is not good enough reward for the way you’re treated.
