The lunatics have taken over the asylum

Pros

There are some good people

Cons

Years ago, Videology had high standards and employed some top-notch people. Talent and hard work was rewarded and it was generally a great environment. Over the years the smart people gradually became outnumbered as clueless, overpaid, self-congratulating morons were inserted into the upper ranks. An exasperating chasm grew between the people at the top and the people who actually understood how things work, and between the tech leaders in the US and the guys on the ground in EMEA. Despite repeating the tired mantra that "people are out most important resource", management repeatedly proved that they saw the employees as more of an inconvenience than an asset.

Pros

Employees create amazing culture and work so well together Decent work/life balance Outstanding product that is going to empower the industry and brands to a whole new level Smart and passionate CEO Team members are dedicated to seeing the product grow

Cons

In the past 8-12 months there has been zero structure and transparency Middle management passes the buck around when it comes to solving for basic issues which means there is no accountability. If there ever is a sign of accountability it's usually too late Those who are dedicated do the work of 5 people leaving those who don't care to just sit around Management doesn't communicate well to each other and therefore you get varying answers depending on the day and the person.

A company adrift...

Pros

Clients can always depend on the sales team to provide them with a good time. The company is in a growth segment of the online ad space.

Cons

- It's weird how everyone in the company constantly repeats how smart the CEO is - as he rants and raves during company meetings. - Moving from a video centric company into display seems like a "back to the future" strategy. - At the same time, the company is losing money and calls a down round a huge success in fundraising.
