Pros
I spent a few years at Virginia Heart. I learned who to befriend to make the days bearable. The clinical and support staff are generally good people.
Cons
Patients will verbally abuse employees to the point of emotional distress to the employee, and management tolerates this. Imagine going to work every day not knowing when you would get off, the patient care and paperwork, charting etc is compounding. They don't want you working overtime and the 'work will be there tomorrow' - how dare you say that when patients need their medication refills and other triage handled. The doctors make good money but don't want to invest in their support staff.
