Pros

Great when I started, some friendly folks and passionate staff. Counselors and rec sports were a joy to work with. Good experience for your resume, but that's about it.

Cons

Immediately given additional duties with no pay bump. After doing exceptionally well at those, boss retired, leaving a massive whole in the health center. I was assigned to useless middle management who had no interaction with me for ages Within months, I was let go for taking "too much" needed medical leave with no attempt to allow work from home despite that being perfectly doable in the position. I attempted multiple times to advocate for this and was largely ignored. Was also considered underperforming based on patient numbers and not patient success, despite consistent positive feedback from students. No benefits, despite being full time during the school year (Packaging and mail services did provide this btw). One dietitian for the entire student population while the football team has multiple, though this is the subpar norm for college. Awful management and financial considerations all around. Clearly taking advantage of young professionals.
