Pros

The Virginia Tech Student Success Center was very flexible with undergraduate students' schedules and let you work as few or as many hours as a tutor you wanted.

Cons

Pay is not the same as what you could get doing a private gig, but that's because it's a free service that the university puts on... and you don't have to do any of the scheduling or provide/travel to a venue.

Pros

I liked Blacksburg a lot.

Cons

Being a graduate research assistant will never be perfect despite where you go - might as well go here!

Pros

Fun environment, pays pretty well, and helps build confidence with public speaking. It's a great resume builder for young college students.

Cons

Can be intimidating asking for donations, but you get used to it after a while.
