Pros

Easy to work with, depending on the position and offer great maternal benifits for persons who want to take time off with kids

Cons

GTA pay is not great - but they are paying for your degree so it is a give take

Pros

It's extremely rewarding to see your residents grow in front of your eyes, and to be able to be of help for those who need it. Benefits are nice with free housing and board. Also, there's a bit of a stipend which helps.

Cons

A lot of time and paperwork that isn't expected when applying for this job. Can be demanding on schedule, but worth it if money is not the primary reason.

Pros

Worked as a paid research intern in the chemistry department. Boss gave me flexible hours

Cons

Upper administration can be a pain to work with, good deal of red tape to get things signed or processed.
