      Pros

      Great colleagues, a solid benefits package, beautiful scenery, and overall very good students. Being able to commute every day by bus for free is a great bonus too.

      Cons

      The main drawback is that unless you're heavily into research and have a strong "pedigree" you can't get into a tenure-track position and there are limited opportunities for faculty who don't fit the research-oriented mold.
