Pros

The benefits were good especially insurance and retirement. The work environment was good. The dining halls on campus have good food and are convenient to walk to for lunch. Busses available to those that live close, I was not able to utilize this though.

Cons

The parking pass needed to park on campus is expensive. The pay was not great for the level of education required for the job, relative to a job in industry. Being under a grant funded technician position the grants ended and my job dissapeared before I was vested (5 years) for retirement.
