Pros

The students are great; fair salary and benefits especially good at providing funding for MA students which is not always the case for humanities fields

Cons

The teaching load can be quite intensive when trying to complete academic requirements, and it is very difficult to take advantage of the certificate programs the university encourages with the required work loa.d

Pros

Great pay for a student job, immediate boss was supportive, flexible working hours, clean and professional working environment, fun coworkers

Cons

Job itself can be quite monotonous, staff members of VTTI outside of the data reductionist department seem somewhat stand-offish and critical of the reductionists, VTTI is not on-campus
